that title was a bad rip off of the opening line in "a tale of two cites." it also sums up my life right now.

i haaaaaate law school. we are bitter enemies right now. i'm doing fine, and i even have a paid summer position. my beef is the brainwashing. i feel like success in law school depends upon conforming to a specific epistomological model. i'm a fan of the abstract, and now i must opt for the concrete. i miss the freedom of intellectual process i enjoyed during undergrad.

so law school is a big vacuum that sucks some of the happiness out of my life. things are great otherwise- i love my friends, and we're all going post college crazy to varying degrees. yay to weird life phases. my boyfriend is wonderful- he took me to 'wicked' this weekend, and i looooooooooved it. and of course, there are plenty of entertaining trash shows on tv for my viewing pleasure.

i don't know what the closing line of "a tale of two cities" is so i can't be all congruous and finish the way i began. mah bad.
